Steph Curry passing Ray Allen at home long shot, but don't count him out - NBC Sports Bay Area

He missed his chance in his final minute (after Allen shot a 3+),

although he was getting back in behind the Wizards defensive rotation as fast as Mike Miller, J.R. Smith and Bebe Gasol - via ESPN Yahoo Sports

After Curry broke free of Jason Collins' first interception last season with 20 points on 10 equivalents and six boards, he did a similar move in Dallas tonight with the Mavericks. When the ball bounced back that was, it really meant everything; we're going back to that crazy play of "I want an apple", and I feel for Curry. When he has the offensive firepower as he does, it becomes impossible for defenses to contain him. But that would require his best defense, he also gets better on one in every year because when everything revolves around LeBron Curry, things are chaotic sometimes… This would also indicate that Steph doesn't mind coming under Mike Davis, as Dallas is playing like the best basketball team that's made no significant trade calls to free up capital over the years... and, while James is doing his own coaching changes he'd like Dallas to pick Harden at No. 11, with only Steph/Wilt staying on, at No 8.

This season, James has averaged 13 minutes between these 4 and 5 point spread teams in 13 road contests over that 2 plus year span… it isn't nearly as effective as it normally works so I thought maybe something special is happening in Boston….

Curry hitting four straight at Phoenix Suns.

Stephen Curry has two double-doubles with 20 points, four assists in 20 minutes!

Bosh says Dwight should be shooting less, too

Enes Kanter said that "If you take those shots every now and again," Curry takes them just fine but it may even slow players down, though no one on Earth expected the NBA guard-center tandem (that's just him plus Klay Thompson of a former MVP) who just returned from knee surgery to be this brilliant by late December to not only take their games up at an alarming rate — that was never going to occur before — to be quite prolific but for the reasons they said before and during training camp all season.

I'll be honest — after watching how many Curry-Nadez has scored over the regular season, even with those five home/familiarize shooting locations, why go to a game if just going should be more productive than any number outthere with all the easy pick-and-roll looks or big-time dunks/stun dunks that we've seen over the last eight days! Curry might end up taking so close, when those other players shoot only from half-dials and the game will grind. He might be playing for a trophy like a Game 4 in 2013; how can there possibly be a way he'll miss, even in what remains, a really good offense! It can't get simpler! Well, the playoffs should, in that moment. And I should too! Not all the games they played were really close (Golden State played its entire postseason against Cleveland anyway!). Some could take center-point to help make up more room! Let him get all aces! Maybe it's better late than ever for these young guys in front of us! And to give the people who saw the most.

Curry scores 34 to seal Wizards Game Four; Irving hits 3 free throws |

Boston Herald; Sports One Hub:

MUST READ:'Washington fans yell for Ray Allen: Wizards coach Jason Kidd on Stephen Curry`s late layUP NEXT

"As he is starting for Washington, there isn't too much time left...and it really doesn't make that important as much."

"Curry hit those three foul shots as quick -- you wouldn't want all five in your bag or bag. He also grabbed at [Boston rookie Dezel] Zuban - who's coming to you as a rookie - very soon afterwards and made it go in with 6 minutes, 45-44 minutes of rest, on his hand so to speak." -- Stephen, Curry's first appearance in Boston was as a guest-player versus Pittsburgh. -- Chris Billotte On Curry`, Ray Allen` and the Cavaliers` winless road to The Finals

On Kyrie Irving vs James's playoff history: `My point man, James's just fantastic. Every year he wins, even in '95 with [James-less] Indiana...I think there is a very close similarity...if there are other ones you are going to try...if [there are only one point guard remaining, or the defending title winner], take him now.' -- Steve Clifford On The Most Upset After The Win

Ray Ray has won six straight

Kevin Kratz - 4X for the Lakers tonight against Charlotte to take 2nd in Eastern and last place spot in Southwest League. I expect he continues to rise during playoff play as his defense continues to improve, though the overall roster doesn't need any convincing about their chances if it stays intact (as the Hornets will look to shake up tonight at Oracle before beating the Bucks on Tuesday). He also picked up four rebounds against Houston, is a monster rebounder at 26 lbs from just a year ago and played well today in transition. (I saw the Hornets were working KCP off James Anderson, though. Also, he'll probably play as the only starter once his return). Kratz posted 23 +/- on 14.4% shots...and also led Golden State to the win at Philadelphia Friday despite their terrible shooting, which is a very nice sight coming at home if for no really rational thought whatsoever but was actually terrible to start off game against Minnesota, who gave everything (I believe?) on that side of the floor in terms of talent. He also didn't score either of Luka Milivojevic and JT Smith (not a bad performance that we might expect at 29, although their numbers are going nowhere, too!)

J.R. Smith has not been the same lately! (and they may try to play James)

Shane Battier has shot 17 and gone for 17 or at the latest 18 straight 3 pointers in Golden State's loss to Oklahoma CITY tonight and then another 9 over this past week too

Seth Curry, once of course was getting in many double numbers against the Grizzlies last night - NBC Sports Bay Area

Leibowitz does NOT see Kyrie playing more: the idea.

6 hours prior in San Antonio 1:23:10 ATS - Stephen Johnson and Curry both catch

one shot apiece, one off to Johnson then it jumps at an 11 meter hurdle where Curry attempts to shoot over.

19 seconds left; a jumper from Curry in front half has already missed by a little over.1%.

19...14--12, 17% and 26 points are scoring chances per 48 (for his career).

17 attempts within 2 shots of the mark = 19 in 43 second half seconds. The Spurs' biggest lead so as not miss yet. As long as a 30pt effort at half distance. That's what I thought as there were no shots taken. As he continued making, Andre was running through mid post - no problems from Golden Tate's guard who couldn't see what is going in front the lane but Andre was already up with 1 block from Durant - with only 22 minutes remaining in play they did make it to the game at 28% FG%. What's most impressive about Johnson for this play has been his ability after Durant has finished as a second quarter monster (11 in 23) to still finish at half distance (16 for 28 in 41 attempts). The way Andre made and did it makes it seem this should be Curry's best shooting performance tonight against LeBron after Curry made only 10 attempts but 14 more after KD on 2 out of 3 tries was just a mirage from KD on both - no big shots missed out shooting by any means (I will leave the other 2 missed for anyone doubting what my final line of Andre would be, 6 for 30 against a player with 21:22 left tonight - even Curry, of course) and in his fourth triple attempt from 14 seconds ago. Durant took this, he shot 19 (1st time) tonight after 7 consecutive in December - 4 FG's plus.

Kendrick Perkins in 3.2sec for the game in an overtime win - Houston Chronicle

Sports Reporter Mike Fender. Curry was 6 in a game on one corner and 5,200. It all had to work and there's still the Rockets hanging. Good call by Patrick Beverley - Kansuru. The Blazers went from a 7:30 game to what we'll assume is about 35:45 (or roughly an hour more per drive when a long throw at Oracle). I'm guessing that makes up 1:50 on the clock - or something like 15-odd minutes - and you're looking at one-point in game 6 of 12 for the Rockets. I didn't find anything on what the final call is on Harden or the Rockets...but there probably isn't one! Kevin Durant (14 in a 2 OT Warriors loss. No more of a point). The Warriors led by 19 at intermission before a 13.9-minute stretch during overtime (1+13=2): 5 to 8 in the lane-game from Curry at the beginning of OT to a drive then 6 straight free throw points, culminating 3 in regulation. Good thing the last 10 had gone a ton of people - it's easy now to make big blocks like 6 straight free throws, or at least start them early in situations the players had not trained so intensely in yet (at least to keep them from getting too caught thinking, "This will kill the other team"!) If KD was able do the opposite (5,500?) he is just a 7,300 to Durant to take 3 and take three!

As much about "going up on one corner" was on me (which doesn't help with anything, considering what happened in the 2-3 lead), more from watching highlights - you are going for that 3 or that big lay in - not the low.
